My Personal Journey
About ten years ago, I found myself feeling lost. Between the demands of work and raising children, I felt disconnected from who I truly was. A nagging sense of discomfort—“This isn’t me”—lingered, but I didn’t know how to find my way back to myself.
During this time, I realized the importance of reconnecting with my inner femininity. This photo session is inspired by my own journey, offering a meaningful experience that helps you reflect, reconnect, and uncover new insights about yourself.
Two Key Themes of the Photo Session
1. The Diversity of Femininity
Femininity is a balance of strength and grace. Many women may find it difficult to express their emotions due to societal expectations. This session offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can freely explore and express your emotions, guided with care and support.
2. Sacred Femininity
In ancient Japanese characters called Katakamuna, there are two complementary forces:
- Awa – representing femininity: softness, intuition, and receptiveness
- Sanuki – symbolizing masculinity: drive, competition, and action
When these two energies harmonize, true creativity and vitality emerge.
Modern society often emphasizes masculine traits, but I believe that embracing our inner femininity—intuition, inspiration, connection, and living in the present—leads to a more fulfilling life.
Katakamuna are documents written in ancient script (expressed as ‘uta’). It is believed to have been written over 12,000 years ago(before the Jomon period). This literature combines circles, straight lines, half circles and quarter circles to represent 48 sounds, arranged in a spiral from the centre outwards and read from the inside outwards. It is composed of a number of graphic symbols combining the circle and the letter ten.

How the Photo Session Works
Preparation
A week before the session, you’ll receive a PDF guide with thoughtful questions about femininity to inspire self-reflection.
On the D-Day
- Choose between a 60-minute or 90-minute session.
- The first 30 minutes serve as a warm-up to help you relax, followed by capturing your authentic expressions.
- Wardrobe consultation is available upon request.
