This work was a product of chance, and was taken at the request of a woman who was a children’s nightwear designer at the time to make some images for a press release.

The nightwear was made of the best Egyptian cotton and was very white and thin. When I photographed this with light shining from below, it looked like an X-ray taken on origami.

The delicate and transparent images have gone beyond photos of clothes and become works of art. I really like it.
