night reveries

a visit into the imaginary world of children when bedtime stories make way to beautiful dreams

This work was my first personal work and was presented at Le Bon Marche in 2011.

Were you ever afraid of the night when you were a child?

For me, the night felt more like fear and anxiety than sweetness.

This night scene is expressed in Diptyque style because I think  that a single photo alone lacks a psychological depiction of a child.

In terms of photographic technique, I used the natural darkness and the room’s electricity so as not to disrupt the mysterious atmosphere of the night.
