How Fairies & Flowers recharge your Energy: unlock the healing power of Nature

In today’s post, I’d like to share a fascinating book I recently read that explores the magical connection between humans and nature. The book, titled How to Meet Fairies by Himenomiya Ami, is written in Japanese, but if you have a love for plants and flowers, you’ll likely resonate with its core message: our profound bond with the natural world and the energy we gain from it.

While science may not have all the answers, How to Meet Fairies delves into the spiritual aspects of this connection. It touches on how interacting with flowers and plants can provide a remarkable energy boost, something I’ve personally experienced during my journey into flower arrangement and pressed flower art.

The Healing Power of Touching Nature

Have you ever felt refreshed or rejuvenated after gardening or arranging flowers? I used to practice Japanese flower arrangement (Ikebana), and I clearly remember how just an hour of working with flowers would melt away my stress. According to Himenomiya’s book, this is no coincidence.

The book explains that touching flowers and plants helps charge our bodies with life energy. While plants don’t speak, and the idea may seem mysterious to many, Himenomiya’s unique perspective sheds light on this phenomenon in an extraordinary way.

Why Do Flowers and Plants Rejuvenate Us?

Himenomiya suggests that flowers and plants help humans recharge by connecting us to the life-giving energy of the universe. However, she approaches the subject from a spiritual viewpoint, so the explanation may feel a bit abstract for more logically-minded readers.

If you’re open to exploring beyond the boundaries of science, though, this book will provide plenty of insights. Himenomiya shares that she has had the gift of seeing fairies since childhood, making her observations unique but difficult for some to grasp. Yet, her ideas align with centuries-old traditions about the mystical relationship between humans and nature.

The Energy of Love from the Creator

One of the most fascinating parts of the book is how it connects the energy we feel from nature to the “light of love” that originates from the Creator. According to Himenomiya, the source of life-giving energy is the sun, but humans cannot handle this intense light directly. Instead, this light is diffused and softened, reaching us through the natural world, including flowers, plants, rivers, mountains, and even the wind.

This energy, which spirals downward in vibrations, passes through various levels of existence—from goddesses and angels to the spirits of the elements (earth, water, fire, and wind)—until it reaches us. In this way, when we touch flowers and plants, we’re interacting with particles of this divine love, which recharges our own energy.

The Connection Between Fairies and Nature

In Japan, it has long been believed that everything in nature has life, and that there are gods of the mountains, fire, water, and wind. In contrast, in the West, nature has often been represented by cute, playful fairies that are part of the natural world. This book explains that beneath the spirits governing the four elements—earth, water, fire, and wind—there are fairies who are divided into smaller groups. These fairies work as familiar beings that support and serve us through nature.

While I had always considered fairies to be mythological, reading Himenomiya’s explanation made me rethink their role. These small beings, according to the author, help distribute the Creator’s love to us by acting as intermediaries in nature. Since God’s magnificent energy of love is split into small particles and reaches us, it makes sense that when we come into contact with nature, we feel energized and our life energy is increased. No wonder we feel an energy boost when we interact with the natural world!

Conclusion: A Flow of Love and Energy

It’s easy to understand why we feel a surge of life energy when in contact with nature—flowers, trees, and plants are vehicles for the Creator’s love, split into tiny particles and reaching us in a tangible way. The flow of love and energy from the universe is truly beyond human imagination.

In my next post, I will dive deeper into the work of fairies and explore the second reason why nature has such a powerful impact on our life energy.

By focusing on the energy boost we receive from nature and our connection with flowers and plants, this blog post aims to make these concepts accessible to readers who are curious about the spiritual and healing powers of the natural world. Stay tuned for more insights into the magical relationship between humans and nature!
